On Friday, the former White House adviser Steve Bannon stepped up and responded back at former President George W. Bush and Arizona Senator John McCain’s after their indirect comments at President Trump’s leadership.
Bannon described how the former President Bush was a fumbling idiot when he spoke and also put blame on him for presiding over a “destructive” presidency while he was in the White House. He made these comments shortly after Bush made his speech in New York as he denounced bigotry and warned of ‘nativism’ during Trump’s presidency.
Bannon gave Bush a smack down saying that Bush never knew if he was “coming or going, just like it was when he was president.”
“There has not been a more destructive presidency than George Bush’s,” said Bannon. He then went on to say that Bush was only “embarrassing himself” with his comments suggesting that the U.S. under the leadership of President Trump has led to “nativism” and “casual cruelty.”
After he took some shots at the former President Bush, he then jabbed John McCain saying that he deserves the respect of the people as a politician, he is still “just another Senator from Arizona.”
His speech earned him a standing ovation. Bravo Steve!
